Played football in high school, in college, and invited to pro tryouts with the Buffalo Bills and New Orlean Saints. I played outside linebacker and special teams. In college, I won the Blood and Guts Award at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. This Award is given annually to a player that sets the example, not only on game day, but everyday on the practice field in preparation, dedication, mental and physical toughness that makes an outstanding player.
In addition to being a football player, I have coached outside linebackers with Charleston Southern University. I was the Head Football Coach for Upward Flag Football with New Hope Baptist Church and NFL Flag Football. I train student-athletes to lead good examples on and off the football field.
Things that I cover with athletes I coach are with, visualization, basic fundamentals, mental preparation, goal-setting, leadership skills, conditioning, mentoring, motivation & more.
